5 Forensic accounting

5.1 Benefit Figure Disputes

  • Analyse prosecution's benefit calculation and challenge assumptions (e.g., lifestyle assumptions).

5.2 Asset Tracing and Valuation

  • Rebut unexplained credits by showing they're not criminal proceeds.

5.6 Expert Witness Reports

  • Provide court-ready expert reports compliant with CPR 35 standards.
  • Present findings clearly for use in defence statements and confiscation hearings.
  • Attend court as an independent expert to give oral testimony if required.

5.7 Section 22 (Reassessment) Defence
